Te Aroha Events Centre is a 100 tonne project Steelworks NZ Ltd completed for the Matamata District Council. The building is expected to be completed in late 2016.

The centre will provide a sports hall with 2 full size netball/basketball courts and space for up to 8 badminton courts. In addition there will be a function room which can seat 160 people around tables or more in a cinema style arrangement. The function room can be split into two equal size rooms, one of which will also have kitchen facilities. For more information, visit Matamata District Council website.
