Steelworks recently commissioned a new blast booth and paint area mid 2025 to provide a one-stop-shop for steel projects from detailing to surface protection capabilities in-house!
SANDBLASTING
Our purpose built area is fitted with state of the art gear and equipment with new technology to meet specifications; and overhead cranes to allow items to be mobilized through the workshop more efficiently.
Our blast booth uses specialist media with recycling capabilities to provide high-end finishes for the painting stage in a controlled environment.
PPE includes new helmet and suit technology to look after our workers in the sandblasting process.
GALVANISING
We liaise and coordinate the outsourcing of non-paint finishes such as galvanising or zinc coatings if required for your project.
PAINTING
The paint area is installed with a high tech ventilation system to maintain a controlled environment for applying coatings to specification.
We undertake QA throughout the painting process, including humidity and dew point checks and can provide full documentation for QA and warranty compliance. We can also arrange 3rd party inspections on request.
Large items or specialized paint systems are outsourced for applying surface protection services.
